Most attractive hotel in Knysna
When you arrive driving, you feel like Dynasty. The Hotel is insanely beautiful. Especially since the antiquity of the building and grounds has been completely preserved. On the inside some minor adjustments, but generally in original condition. "A property with history!" The rooms are super. Nice beds, plenty of space, nice balcony and a bathroom where you can shower or bathe. Downstairs there are cozy spaces, where you can relax, while a fireplace is lit for you. Lovely to enjoy! The service is super friendly and ready for you all the time. They make sure you lack nothing. Finally, breakfast and dinner. These are delicious. Delicious dishes and served in a beautiful way. Warm welcome, old world charm.
Lovely guest house/ small hotel just outside Knysna. I really appreciated the warm welcome from JF as I arrived with a migraine. After a FANTASTIC shower, some welcome juice and a light dinner it was a distant memory. Lovely place, very nice food and some relaxation by the pool. A fantastic boutique hotel in Knysna!
Our stay at Parkes Manor was just lovely from the first moment. As soon as you arrived you could feel the special atmosphere of this lovingly restored mansion. We were warmly welcomed by Raymond and immediately felt comfortable. The rooms are spacious and attractively furnished with great attention to detail and offer a beautiful view of the well-kept garden and lagoon. The service was simply top – warm, attentive and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. You feel welcome! Breakfast was a real highlight, great fruit, freshly prepared eggs of any shape as well as super delicious pancakes, you can't list everything. A special highlight was the dinner prepared by Jocelyn, which we were allowed to enjoy twice. Every course was a treat and the ambience in the beautifully covered dining room made the experience perfect. A real insider tip! Parkes Manor is very quiet but not far from the center. The Waterfront can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. A swimming pool is available in the spacious and well-kept garden, and drinks can be served on request. Feel-good oasis
Noble house from the 1920s. C. with charm and luxury. Mostly old furniture in the house and in the rooms. Original floors. The breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner, so we ate there 3 times instead of going to the waterfront. Large plot with trees, protected area, small pool. In the afternoon there was cake / cappuccino from the boss. You can hear the noise from the street during the day.... no matter. Super nice staff and helpful owners. An exceptional welcome awaits you at this historic and beautifully kept property in the outskirts of Knysner. Our host and cook real made us feel welcome. the food was so tasty and the rooms beautifully decorated and so very clean! Stylish, house with very nice staff
We felt comfortable from the beginning. On arrival we received a welcome drink and it was all explained to us. The whole house is cohesively and comfortably furnished. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast very rich and of good quality. We ate twice at the onsite restaurant and it was excellent. BEAUTIFUL!
We had an exceptional welcome at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the staff exceptional. We arrived on my birthday, a welcome cocktail was served with a cake... plus a nice decor in our room and a little gift for the occasion! Relaxing stay in Knysna
We had a very lovely comfortable stay at Parkes Manor. We were welcomed with a welcome drink and milk tart. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the hosts were extremely helpful. Personalised touches and beautifully maintained
Beautiful grounds, room and breakfast. The attention to detail is noticed throughout the accommodation including a welcome drink and checking in on us throughout the stay. The pool is a lovely area to relax and the rooms and balconies are spacious and impeccably maintained. The bathroom decoration is stunning! The breakfast has a wide variety of options and catered to different dietary requirements, only a 15 min walk to Knysna central and a safe walk along main roads.
